Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to undertake a leadership role in learning and development at a reputable healthcare institution.
About the RoleThis is a perfect opportunity for an experienced L&D Manager or Clinical Nurse Educator looking for their next career challenge.
The role is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating learning strategies to enhance the skills of nursing and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct annual education needs analysis to identify specific learning requirements for each department.
- Develop educational activities that meet the needs and expectations of customers.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practice in nursing and healthcare.
- Coordinate the development of evidence-based educational activities to meet quality initiatives.
- Lead and manage the education team to achieve budget targets.
- Provide training and education to ensure staff compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Registration with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Training and Assessment.
- Experience in leadership roles.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices.
- Good computer literacy and reporting skills.
