Procurement Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our major project delivery initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance strategies.

This is a challenging opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with project teams, engineers, and senior stakeholders to deliver key strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to support major project delivery.
  • Lead complex sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation processes.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement life-cycles in alignment with project milestones.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor contract execution, track savings, and report on supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in project procurement or contract management, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or IT environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex procurement activities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage across all levels.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office suite.
