The role of Procurement Effectiveness Manager involves leading the implementation and application of tools, systems, and frameworks to support procurement operations and contract management registry.

About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join a greenfield procurement function, working for an inspiring procurement head who is an industry expert. You will be responsible for building capability, providing insights, and ensuring the process, procedures, and training manuals for procurement best practice drive performance uplifts.

In short, this role focuses on enhancing the full source-to-contract and procure-to-pay mechanisms to secure efficiencies and smooth running of the function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve procurement operations and capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance functionality and efficiency in procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with core business units, including Finance, Legal, and IT, to refine processes.
  • Build dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • An excellent track-record of delivering process improvements and fine-tuning enhancements to support functions.
  • A highly visible ambassador for the procurement team, working collaboratively with core business units.
  • Organizational skills combined with logical, data-driven thought processes.
  • A customer-service-oriented mindset, people centricity, and administrative flair.
  • Experience building catalogues, setting up contract administration frameworks, and coordinating P2P procure-to-pay systems would be highly regarded.
