About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and results-driven Mid-Market Account Manager to join our team at Nearmap. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated account portfolio, focusing on territory planning, execution, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a Dedicated Account Portfolio: Focus on territory planning, execution, and documentation to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Develop Strategic Territory Plans: Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement plans that align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Drive New Business Acquisition: Utilize self-generation, prospecting, and pipeline generation techniques to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers: Enhance product adoption, customer engagement, and account growth through collaborative efforts.
  • Lead Upsell and Cross-Sell Initiatives: Maximize account value by developing and executing strategies to promote additional products and services.
  • Build Value-Based Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key contacts and decision-makers to drive long-term customer success.
Requirements
  • Full Cycle Sales Experience: Proven track record of successful sales performance in SaaS environments.
  • Sales Methodologies: Knowledge of popular sales methodologies, including MEDDIC, SPIN, Sandler, and BANT.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: Consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment and a strong drive for sales growth.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
