We are a multi-national company experiencing sustained growth across our key business units of Property Development, Civil Works, Plant Hire, Construction Materials, Electrical and Under Ground Mining & Tunnelling.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role will perform accounting and reporting functions ensuring efficient and effective compiling of financial information for monthly reports, forecasting and continuous disclosure.

  • Assist in the preparation of Monthly Reporting
  • Lodging Annual Tax Reports
  • Preparing Monthly Sales and Gross Margin Analysis
  • Processing accruals and General Journals
  • Preparation of tailored Monthly Financial Reports and reviews
  • Preparation of weekly Cashflow Forecast
  • Participate in Group Financial Reporting programs as prescribed by MGH CFO
  • Respond to Audit enquires
  • Assist with Tax & Compliance
  • Provide support to accounts payable and accounts receivable
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Degree in Accounting and CPA/CA (or working towards)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a similar financial role.
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to think laterally
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands.
  • Drivers Licence
  • willingness to occasionally travel if required
