This role provides administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team working within the service.
Ward Clerks will work under the direction of the relevant Program/Unit Manager, providing guidance on work priorities and supporting the efficient collation and maintenance of patient health records.
- Be responsible for the accurate registration, admission and discharge of patients on the Statewide mental health computer system.
- Maintain patient lists, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Scan forms and clinical reports into JCare as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality administrative support to a dynamic team.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and information.
- Ensuring seamless data entry and reporting processes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to relate sensitively and professionally with patients.
