Policy Specialist Role

As a Policy Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of policies aimed at improving our agency's effectiveness.

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify solutions to complex problems and inform policy decisions.
  • Draft and finalize policies, briefings, and ministerial correspondences that are clear, concise, and effective.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, community groups, and individuals to build strong relationships and facilitate policy implementation.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Proven experience in policy development and implementation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality briefs and ministerial correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve policy objectives.
