Job Overview

This role is a key part of our data center operations team, responsible for staging, setting up, and deploying hardware in our global portfolio of over 200 data centers across 32 countries.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, quickly identifying causes of issues and replacing faulty components with minimal customer disruption.
  • Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling are set up properly according to safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Dismantle hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidance.
  • Communicate incidents to relevant teams and engineering specialists, escalating as necessary.
  • Provide guidance to junior technicians to complete challenging tasks.
  • Complete required training aligned to the role and workload, observing experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information and staying apprised of colleagues' work.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1+ year's experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
  • Ability to work non-standard business hours, including evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Security Clearance

To meet government security screening requirements, you'll need to pass a background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. You may also be required to verify Australian citizenship and undergo an NV1/2, PV clearance assessment.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
