We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our clients dynamic team at Fuse Recruitment. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Inspections and Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they impact production.
  • New Machinery Installation: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring safe and efficient set-up.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and achieve production goals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade qualification as a Fitter, Mechanic, or equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance fitter role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of plant machinery and equipment are essential.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is crucial.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention are necessary.
  • A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety protocols are required.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as automated machinery, is advantageous.
