Job Description:

As a mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and reviewing functional statements, organisational charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units.
  • Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation.
  • Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, and products for manufacture, as well as plant and systems for construction.
  • Coordinating the delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Ensuring optimum worker and equipment efficiencies through analysis of workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules and costs.
  • Directing maintenance activities and coordinating requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
  • A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and engineering standards.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate teams, and deliver results within deadlines.
