As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
  • Provide site-based support for breakdowns, diagnostics, and fault finding
  • Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, exercising autonomy and initiative

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Previous experience in maintaining MPU's, MMU's, or HR vehicles (highly regarded)
  • Current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Physical fitness and readiness for demanding work
  • Ability to pass comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management systems, tech-tools, and other relevant computer software
