Ecommerce Reliability Specialist

This critical role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the dependability and performance of live e-commerce transactions across various websites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Optimize Infrastructure: Develop infrastructure solutions to support large-scale, high-volume transaction environments.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and automated deployment frameworks to accelerate software delivery.
  • SRE Practices: Champion Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and Puppet, partnering with development teams to embed SRE and DevOps best practices into all ecommerce features and releases.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance in a live, customer-facing environment.
  • Observability and Security: Implement modern observability, logging, and monitoring solutions to ensure uptime and transaction stability, maintaining robust security practices and compliance across infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with infrastructure design and optimization for large-scale e-commerce environments.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and Puppet for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement SRE and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong understanding of system reliability and performance, observability, and security principles.
