Job Title

The Medical Imaging Operations Manager role at St George Hospital involves leading the operational and financial management of Medical Imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning for service performance in relation to patient throughput, compliance, accreditation, workforce recruitment and retention strategies, finances, corporate risk, and human resource management.
  • Optimise service performance by implementing effective solutions to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of staff to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership and management in a large and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, develop and implement policies and procedures, and improve service performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making and influencing skills.
