Inventory Management Specialist - Aviation Industry

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in the Aviation industry. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and managed.

Your tasks will include:

  • Utilizing existing databases of suppliers
  • Managing inventory levels and generating monthly reports
  • Issuing parts in conjunction with the warehouse team
  • Securing that the day-to-day purchasing module is cleaned, all necessary Purchase orders are placed, and all actions related to this are performed
  • FOLLOWING UP on open orders, securing that they are delivered on time as requested, and if delayed from supplier, following up closely and pressing on to secure delivery
  • Completing all necessary HP repair orders and updating the system to record new repairs
  • Updating incoming PO's and RO's with next delivery to reflect the best estimated delivery date
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in setting up Stores/Workshops
  • A Forklift license is desirable
  • Experience in aviation material management, especially in fields such as purchasing, inventory management or materials management is advantageous
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • You are adaptable to constant change and have a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Quantum Control will be advantageous
  • Must have own Transport and Working Rights within Australia
  • National Police Check
  • Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen
