Mental Health Specialist

A challenging opportunity exists for a mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary team within a healthcare setting, supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members.
Main Responsibilities:- Crisis management and risk assessment with development of appropriate management plans.
- Initial intake and comprehensive assessment of ADF Members presenting need.
- Formulation and implementation of treatment plans.
- Delivery of programmatic interventions and care coordination services.
- Group psycho-education sessions.
- Current unconditional registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in mental health with proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based strategies.
- Ongoing participation in Continuous Professional Development activities.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
- Australian Citizenship for Baseline Security Clearance.
