Senior Infrastructure Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Coordinator to oversee a major campus development project in the Cairns region. This is a fixed-term position for three years, full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure projects.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and risk management to achieve project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and reporting frameworks to track progress and ensure delivery against key performance indicators.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure projects through all phases—from design and tendering to construction, commissioning, and completion.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders including funding bodies, councils, consultants, and contractors.
  • Sound knowledge of project management frameworks, with strong capabilities in scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, submissions, and tenders, and to negotiate effectively in complex stakeholder environments.
