Job Overview

Ventia is seeking a seasoned project leader to drive the delivery of a newly expanded infrastructure program across the Australian Capital Territory.

You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, managing contractors, and ensuring project delivery meets client expectations and regulatory standards.

This role can be based in Canberra or Sydney.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major infrastructure program in the ACT, including team management, program execution, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure contractual compliance, manage risks and opportunities, and drive project profitability through accurate forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team aligned with our values, fostering a collaborative and client-focused culture.
  • Implement quality control measures and promote innovation to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.

About You:

Experienced in project management working in infrastructure services. Telecommunications experience highly desirable. Strong understanding of Australian Capital Territory regulations and local authorities preferred.

Bring strong leadership and communication skills, strategic problem-solving ability, and a solid grasp of commercial, financial, safety, and quality management to drive project success.
