Public Communications Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our team's public communications efforts. As a Public Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting the health service and engaging with local journalists across various mediums.

About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for preparing and disseminating high-quality media releases and responses.
  • Developing, producing, and editing video content and photography at professional standard.
  • Fostering positive relationships with local journalists and the broader community.
  • Contribute to and maintain a pre-planned social media calendar.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in proactive and reactive media relations and social media management.
  • A relevant qualification would be well regarded, although not mandatory.
  • Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B is required.
  • Tuberculosis screening may also be required.
  • A declaration of any serious discipline history must be disclosed.
