Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Communications Specialist to play a key role in supporting stakeholders with internal and external communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in crafting compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Collaborate with key managers and employees to build relationships and develop internal communications plans.
  • Provide guidance on messaging, timing, and branding to support business objectives.
  • Manage external communication processes, including marketing and branding initiatives.
  • Update and refine existing marketing tools to enhance their visibility to target groups.
  • Coordinate the production of promotional materials and advertisements.
  • Represent the organization at events and meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to determine and set priorities.
  • Ability to provide strong client service.
  • Able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Sound working knowledge of editing and design software.
  • Ability to present information to various audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch, with speaking knowledge of Sranan Tongo.
