Key Responsibilities

This temporary contract offers a 6-month duration with possible extension, providing an exciting opportunity to utilize your professional communication skills in an infrastructure project.

You will be responsible for managing community and stakeholder relationships for engagement, media relations, issues management, public affairs, and stakeholder relationship management.

Preparing communication materials such as media releases, ministerial briefings, newsletters, and assisting the project team with communication advice are key aspects of this role.

Developing strategies for stakeholder management, including coordinating community activities, and providing training, advice, and support to project staff to enhance their communication skills are also essential.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is required
  • A degree in communications, public relations, or marketing is preferred
  • Experience in infrastructure project environments and social media is beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder experience is crucial
