About the Role

Curtin University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join our team. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research in Project Management and related fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver curriculum in Project Management and related fields, including coordination and teaching of units both in person and online.
  • Engage with students, collaborators, and industry partners to provide a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment, with a commitment to cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Mentor less experienced staff and supervise HDR students.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or PhD in Project Management or a directly related field.
  • Evidence of industry experience as a Project Manager.
  • Evidence of the development and delivery of high-quality teaching in Project Management and/or its related fields.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide mentoring to less experienced staff and supervise HDR students.
Desirable Requirements
  • Track record of engagement with industry, community, or government in relation to teaching.
  • Professionally recognised credentials in Agile Project Management and/or a track record of delivering Agile projects.
  • Professionally recognised credentials or memberships (e.g. PMP, RegPM, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc.).
