About the Opportunity

Curtin University is pleased to invite applications for a Project Management Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position as part of our Academic Casual Conversion Program. This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic academic community.

The successful candidate will be a passionate educator with relevant industry experience who will have the ability to develop and deliver curriculum in our growing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees. This will involve the coordination and/or teaching of units both in person and online.

We are open to hearing from people with professional experience managing projects across a variety of industries and sectors, including IT, Engineering, Construction, Health Sciences, Government, Human Resources, and Organisational Change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching in Project Management and/or its related fields.
  • Lead curriculum enhancement and help shape the future direction of our courses.
  • Engage with students, collaborators, and industry partners.
Requirements
  • A Masters degree or PhD in Project Management, or a directly related field.
  • Evidence of industry experience as a Project Manager.
  • Evidence of the development and delivery of high-quality teaching in Project Management and/or its related fields.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment.
