Workforce Optimization Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Optimization Manager to lead our strategic workforce planning and ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time. This role will involve developing and managing a long-term workforce supply plan, overseeing forward rostering practices to maximize efficiency and reduce travel time, collaborating with sales and service delivery teams to forecast workforce demand and ensure readiness for new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive workforce strategy to support future growth.
  • Oversee the implementation of advanced rostering practices to optimize workforce efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential workforce gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce management and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Embed best practices for workplace health and safety (WHS) and foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
  • Cultivate and develop team members to deliver exceptional results and promote career growth.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive strategic goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least 6 years' experience in workforce planning, with strong leadership and strategic skills.
  • Solid background in managing large, dynamic workforces, ideally in community or aged care.
  • Demonstrated expertise in rostering/scheduling and improving workforce efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Home and Community Care sector.
