We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Apmc Moving & Delivery Llc. As a key member of our data center construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our data center capacity projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the construction of data center projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to resolve project issues and manage RFIs, Change Orders, and other key delivery functions.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of construction materials and services.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in design and construction management, with a focus on mission-critical facilities.
- Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in mission-critical projects, such as data centers, semi-conductor facilities, hospitals, or oil and gas projects.
- Knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations, including Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes, and Safety Codes.
- Previous experience in vendor and contractor negotiation and management, with a focus on construction and project execution.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on data center construction.
