Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the HSE Coordinator/Supervisor will play a vital role in driving the delivery of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Improvement Plans. This includes facilitating risk assessments, undertaking root cause analyses, leading audits, and observing workplace activities to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of targeted HSE Improvement Plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate the project team to identify fatality risks and mitigation strategies, standards, and activities to prevent them.
  • Manage emergency management processes to ensure timely response and resolution.
  • Develop training plans to enhance employee knowledge and skills in HSE practices.
  • Implement and lead the HSE vision set by the project management team, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 5-10 years' experience in HSE and risk-related roles, preferably in the resources and construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of fatality risk management principles and models, including ISO 31000.
  • Ability to develop and deliver HSE training, manage HSE management plans, facilitate risk assessments, undertake root cause analyses, lead audits, and observe workplace activities.
