Principal Contaminated Land Consultant

The role of Principal Contaminated Land Consultant is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional seeking to advance their career in contaminated land consulting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee contaminated land and remediation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high technical standards.
  • Manage PSI/DSI investigations, remediation action plans, validation reports, and ongoing management plans with confidence.
  • Apply expert knowledge in soil, groundwater, vapour, landfill gas, and hazardous materials assessments to drive project success.
  • Lead project teams, mentor junior consultants, and foster both technical skills and professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership who remain actively engaged in project delivery.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in contaminated land consulting, preferably in the Australian market.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects to a high technical standard.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent report writing and client communication abilities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering, geology, or similar.
  • CEnvP accreditation (or working towards) highly regarded.
