Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - We are seeking an experienced and skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in delivering a sovereign sustainment capability for the Australian UH-60M Black Hawk program.

  • The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft, working in accordance with prescribed aviation standards. This includes endorsing all maintenance and General Aviation Tasking completed in the aircraft continuing airworthiness record system and supporting Maintenance Managers in the execution of maintenance and aviation-related duties.
  • Key responsibilities include providing coaching and mentoring in support of OJT progression and technical supervision of a team. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in Aeroskills – Mechanical from a recognised institution and appropriate aircraft trade qualifications (e.g., trade papers, apprenticeship, indentures etc).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work rotating roster
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance
  • Tertiary qualifications - Certificate IV or above in Aeroskills – Mechanical from a recognised institution
  • Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) on applicable type
  • Meets authorisation requirements under 16 Avn Bde DASR 145 MOE
