A highly rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Workplace Educator to deliver educational programs and initiatives that enhance employee knowledge, skills and performance in a Residential Aged Care setting.

This part-time position requires the successful candidate to work 5 days per fortnight, based at Charles O'Neil, Mayfield West with occasional travel required to St Johns New Lambton and Our Lady of Loreto Gardens in Hamlyn Terrace NSW.

The key focus areas include coordinating and delivering induction and onboarding programs, delivering education and training to all RAC employees, and conducting education and training needs analysis to develop learning plans.

**Essential Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

  • AHPRA registration as a Nurse;
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or equivalent qualification;
  • Proven experience in delivering education and training programs using adult learning principles;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety;
  • Solid understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality standards;
  • Previous experience working in a Residential Aged Care setting;
  • Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • COVID vaccination status;
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain.
