Our Mission

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Organics Resource Recovery Facility in Lake Macquarie, NSW. The facility processes green waste and organic materials into high-quality compost and mulch.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Operations Manager. As a key member of our leadership group, you'll oversee operations across all departments, including health and safety, maintenance, scheduling, people engagement, service delivery, and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operations to ensure sustainable and profitable outcomes.
  • Contribute to real-world problem-solving by leveraging experience in waste, agricultural, or manufacturing environments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and performance at our purpose-built site servicing the Port Macquarie region.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in similar roles within waste resource recovery/reuse management, treatment, and recycling practices.
  • Previous experience in blue-collar, high-risk industry environments, including on-the-ground stakeholder engagement.
  • Accountability for financial and business activities on an operational level.
  • Proven experience working with environmental regulators, such as the EPA.
  • Excellent project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
