About the Role:

As a chef on one of Australia's most breathtaking 5-star dining experiences, set against the iconic backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained and exceeded. This includes understanding and accommodating diverse guest needs, maintaining inventory and stock levels, and providing administrative support.

To be successful in this role, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced working environment with the stamina to handle long hours on your feet and navigate tight spaces confidently.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Managing day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Accommodating diverse guest needs
  • Maintaining inventory and stock levels
  • Providing administrative support

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a chef
  • Responsibility Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
  • QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
