Job Description: As a seasoned data professional, you will lead the Retail Data & Analytics function in providing strategic insights that support business growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance, data-driven storytelling, and leading analytics functions in a large and complex organization. They will excel at translating complex business needs into insightful questions and objectives, applying context to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- You will design, structure, and maintain key data and analytics assets, as well as lead data-driven initiatives for the Retail Business Unit.
- Analysis of data and reports with a strong performance and commercial focus, working closely with stakeholders to interpret outcomes and drive data-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of data strategies to ensure data integrity, uphold quality standards, and deliver actionable insights.
- Provide reporting for weekly and monthly performance metrics, as well as other reports as required.
About You: We are seeking a highly experienced data professional who has:
10+ years of experience in data and analytics, including leading analytics functions in a large and complex organization.Ability to prepare and present comprehensive briefs, reports, and initiatives to senior and executive management, and to staff at all levels.Experience building reporting data solutions and advanced database querying (SQL) and automation approaches (GCP, Python etc).Report visualisation across Tableau, Power BI & other similar software.
