About the Role

As an Allocations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimising inventory management and allocation strategies to maximise sales and profitability. You will analyse sales data, forecast demand, and allocate merchandise effectively across our retail locations. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving business growth through inventory planning.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare store allocation grids in line with sales contribution and store open/closing schedules.
  • Release stock allocations to the Warehouse timeously to achieve agreed delivery dates for existing and new stores.
  • Set up auto-replenishment model stocks for all core items and monitor weekly to ensure that there is sufficient stock on repeat orders to maintain sales.
  • Review and refill all manual replenishment styles weekly, in line with store stock requirements.
  • Communicate to retail teams regularly.
  • Prepare weekly trading results for Department Head's Monday meeting.
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • This role is 3 days per week.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally for a fashion retail company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Possess strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Able to work alongside a range of key senior stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
  • Detail orientated mindset with a focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
