Job Description - Business Solutions Analyst (2500014Y)

About the role

As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will collaborate on a wide range of projects and partner with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with our Business to coordinate enhancements and ensure the successful execution of key projects across all business lines at RACQ.

As a key member of the technology team, you will drive innovative solutions to meet project milestones. We are seeking an experienced, proactive Business Analyst who can manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Key responsibilities:

- Define and review business problems and opportunities using analysis techniques to develop scope statements and provide valuable input.
- Create requirements plans, identify stakeholders, roles, responsibilities, and communication strategies for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, managing, and approving requirements.
- Elicit requirements using individual and group techniques to discover and capture needs.
- Work with stakeholders to define business metrics and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Analyze requirements using dependency and interface analysis, data and process modeling.
- Track requirements with traceability tools, capturing status, sources, relationships, and dependencies to ensure delivery as specified.

About you

- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or Business Solution Analyst in a commercial environment.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with experience in providing advice on BA techniques and best practices.
- Experience with web-based tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience with D365 is desirable.
- Ability to apply business analysis techniques to provide sound recommendations.
- Proficiency in analytical skills, business rule and process analysis, data analysis, stakeholder analysis, and collaboration and communication skills.
