About the Role
As a Senior Storage Engineer at ABC, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects and providing technical support for ABC's storage infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and data protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABC's storage infrastructure, including storage arrays, fibre switches, and data protection solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to the team, exploring new technologies and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage assigned projects within agreed timeframes and to the required standards.
- Maintain detailed technical knowledge of ABC's storage infrastructure and create technical standards and support documentation.
- Provide specialist advice and consultation to internal clients and management on complex technology issues.
About You
- Significant experience in implementing, configuring, and administering enterprise-grade storage hardware and backup solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, managing, and supporting storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, and data protection solutions.
- Experience with NetApp FAS/AFF platforms, IBM Spectrum Protect, and Ansible, PowerShell, and/or Unix shell scripting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex storage technology concepts to a wide variety of audiences.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
