Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Venue and Events Operations and Technical Support Officer. The role involves delivering a range of support services essential to the running of events at various venues, including technical support, customer service, security, room set ups and pack downs, and cleaning tasks.

  • Technical support for events and exhibitions
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and patrons
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of events, including setup and teardown
  • Working closely with event staff and other stakeholders to ensure successful events

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of building/venue and performance lighting and sound equipment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to enable positive interaction with clients, patrons, and other employees
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Physical ability to manoeuvre furnishings and manage set ups in a timely manner
