Job Opportunity

Talent International is seeking a highly skilled Participant Support Officer to join our team in Warrnambool. As a key member of our National Delivery Division Branch, you will play a vital role in assisting with front-line service delivery.

About the Role

This is an APS3 level role paying an hourly rate of $37.36 per hour + Superannuation. The successful candidate will be based out of our Warrnambool office and will be responsible for managing and resolving participant matters, providing counter/reception support, and resolving customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve participant matters by actioning planning tasks
  • Provide counter/reception support for the local office, including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support
  • Resolve customer enquiries, provide information, and/or refer customers to appropriate government or community services
  • Manage the team shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone enquiries
  • Coordinate appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensure facilities are accessible for participants
  • Undertake research and investigation activities and prepare associated reports and correspondence
  • Undertake a range of data entry activities and ensure follow-up is completed
  • Receive and record complaints and other feedback in the NDIA Business systems
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position
  • Ability to work in a team

  • Ability to manage conflict and difficult/sensitive conversations
  • Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with the NDIA or in the disability sector
  • Experience in a Front of House and/or administration based role
  • Happy to work 5 days weekly on site
What We Offer

Successful candidates will need to be able to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check & a Working with Children check. We offer a Labour Hire hourly rate contract until 31/12/2025 with the opportunity to extend.
