Job Title: After Hours Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our hospital's after-hours operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational management of the hospital after-hours, ensuring that all practices, processes, and services are efficient and effective.

This key leadership position requires excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the operational management of the hospital after-hours
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Clinical Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Work closely with on-shift doctors to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Acute Care
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in clinical practice
  • Sound computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
