Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a CT Assistant. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and undertaking cannulations.

About the Role
  • Performing cannulations and providing high-quality patient care while adhering to strict protocols and policies.
  • Analysing request forms and collaborating with staff to ensure the appropriate examination is performed to obtain optimal results.
  • Consulting with colleagues and radiologists as needed to ensure seamless communication and effective decision-making.
  • Supporting radiographers, nursing, and clinical staff by preparing patients for imaging examinations, including manual handling and positioning.
  • Assessing bookings and workflows proactively to maximise efficiency, while remaining flexible to accommodate urgent cases and walk-in patients.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability in cannulation or relevant experience in venepuncture.
  • Experience managing scheduled appointments and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
  • Familiarity with radiology imaging systems (e.g., COMRAD, PACS) is an asset, but not essential.
  • Valid CPR certification or a willingness to obtain it.
