We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our Central Region team as a CT Assistant. This is a full-time role that involves delivering high-quality patient-centred care and undertaking cannulations.

About the Role

As a CT Assistant, you will be responsible for performing cannulations and providing patient care while adhering to our policies, procedures, and protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing cannulations and providing patient care
  • Analysing request forms and assisting staff to ensure the appropriate examination is performed
  • Consulting with colleagues and Radiologists as needed
  • Supporting CT Radiographers, nursing, and clinical staff by preparing patients for imaging examinations
  • Assessing bookings and workflows proactively to maximise efficiency
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven ability in cannulation or relevant experience in venepuncture
  • Experience managing scheduled appointments and ensuring seamless workflow
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Familiarity with radiology imaging systems is a plus
  • Valid CPR certification or a willingness to obtain it
