Job Title: Horticultural Team Leader

About the Role:

We are currently hiring an experienced horticultural team leader to assist with various tasks related to high-end garden maintenance in prestigious landscape settings.

This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with detailed horticultural maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning and mulching.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under guidance of experienced team members.
  • Loading and unloading materials, plants and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools and equipment.
  • Irrigation monitoring and maintenance.
  • Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure safe working environment for yourself and team members.

About You:

  • Previous experience in detailed garden maintenance.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • White card or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with children check or willingness to obtain.
  • Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.
