**Event Guide Position:**

Role Overview:

As an Event Guide, you will facilitate a memorable experience for young people by guiding them through the Careers Hive exhibition and auditorium.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact with young people through engaging conversations and activities within the Careers Hive exhibition and auditorium.
  • Establish rapport quickly and efficiently with young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Present to and facilitate groups of young people with confidence and enthusiasm.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Desirable experience in youth work or education settings.
  • A background in scientific or STEM fields is not essential but highly valued.
  • Passion for inspiring and supporting young people's personal and professional growth.
Training and Requirements:
  • Comprehensive training provided prior to the event.
  • Successful candidates may be required to undergo a criminal records check.
Event Details:
  • Approximately 20 hours spread over 4 days.
  • Location: National Museum of Scotland.
