Job Overview:

The Senior Manager, Business Credit role is a critical leadership position responsible for managing the analysis, assessment, and structuring of BOQ Business submissions. This individual will exercise an appropriate Delegated Approval Authority (DAA) or present the submission to the DAA holder.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure loan documentation accurately reflects all approval conditions.
  • Conduct regular reviews to monitor and ensure the risk-rating is appropriate.
  • Implement remedial actions to maintain the Bank's exposure within its risk appetite.
  • Cultivate a best-practice risk culture throughout the organisation by coaching and mentoring colleagues.
About You:

To succeed in this position, you will possess extensive experience in credit risk management, including exercising credit approval authority within a major financial institution. Your strong financial acumen enables you to analyse financial statements, assess complex corporate structures, and evaluate risk factors comprehensively.

You have a proven ability to develop tailored credit solutions that account for risk mitigation strategies, cash flow adequacy, and property valuations.

Your expertise in banking policies, regulatory expectations, and risk frameworks is robust, ensuring prudent credit decision-making.

You are an effective communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels, and excel in preparing reports, delivering presentations, and facilitating group discussions.
