Key Responsibilities:

  1. To successfully manage multiple projects in the Mackay region, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
  2. To lead and coach teams to reach their full potential, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  3. To engage with subcontractors, consultants, and clients, developing loyal and ongoing relationships.
  4. To have a strong understanding of project planning and programming, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  5. To ensure safety is paramount on site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Building or similar, or relevant Trade background.
  • Proven building knowledge and a thorough understanding of the construction process, with solid experience in a similar role (3+ years).
  • Experience leading and coaching teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible approach to work.
