About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-level comprehensive occupational therapy clinical skills and leadership to provide effective and efficient treatment across multiple areas of the service.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also have a deep understanding of the principles of occupational therapy and its application in various settings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality occupational therapy services to clients across multiple areas of the service
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that meet the individual needs of clients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare professionals
