About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments, treatment planning, and interventions in home and outpatient settings.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Work with consumers, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach.
  3. Specialist Occupational Therapy: Provide expert input, including functional, sensory, and occupational assessments, discharge planning, and support services.
  4. Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, adhere to policies, and contribute to team meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Mental Health Expertise: Possess skills or desire to develop expertise in mental health assessment, monitoring, treatment, and risk management.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Show strong clinical knowledge, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience and Skills: Bring at least one year of postgraduate experience in a mental health setting and relevant qualifications.
