Ramsay Health Care is collaborating with Alfred Health and Goulburn Valley Health to deliver the Women's Recovery Network (WREN), a pioneering mental health service.

This innovative program addresses the unique needs of women experiencing mental illness, requiring tailored treatment and support. As part of this groundbreaking initiative, we are seeking highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

This position presents a unique opportunity to work in an in-patient setting that aligns with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.

You will be working across various pods, including general mental health, eating disorder, and perinatal beds, providing comprehensive care to women in need.

  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized nursing care promoting recovery and well-being.
  • Foster a supportive environment, upholding dignity and respect for all women.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, ongoing risk evaluations, visual observations, and medication management.
  • Promote education and empowerment among women and their families, ensuring active participation in the care process.
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to participants.
Qualifications and Skills
  • AHPRA Registration.
  • Essential experience in Acute Mental Health Inpatient settings, perinatal, and/or eating disorder units.
  • Postgraduate Qualifications in Mental Health (highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic, innovative environments.
