About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Identity Architect to join our team at Australia Post. As a key member of our Cyber Strategy and Architecture team, you will be responsible for leading the architecture of customer and workforce identity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the domain portfolio needs in architecture functions, meetings, and governance
  • Provide enterprise-level guidance and governance to the business portfolio function
  • Lead IT strategy and identity architecture activity and deliverables
  • Ensure portfolio projects align with enterprise-wide strategy and architecture
  • Communicate with external and internal parties to create architecture solutions
  • Maintain awareness of current Information Security standards

About You:

We are looking for a strong communicator who can collaborate with stakeholders from all levels of the enterprise. You will work with technology team resources on specific projects, including project management, business analysts, detailed designers, HR, and testers. Experience enforcing governance, consistency, reusability, and maturity within both waterfall and agile projects is advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Domain, Enterprise, or Principal Architect for Identity in an ASX200 listed or equivalent organisation
  • Experience within an IT transformation project or large IT modernisation programme
  • Ability to step in and produce work product, with ability to apply hands-on knowledge
  • Background working with board strategy and governance materials
  • Intuitive team building, consulting, relationship management, and mentoring skills
  • Proven ability delivering complex architectures for major projects to successful outcomes
