About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity Engineer to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing identity and authentication workflows and integrations for our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions in enterprise environments
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions are designed and business outcomes are achieved
  • Analyse and resolve problems, including root cause analysis, while adhering to incident, problem, and change management protocols and schedules
  • Proactively look for opportunities to optimise and improve application/system performance and efficiency
  • Produce detailed technical documentation around Identity Solutions and Architecture
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Comp TIA Security+) are a plus
  • Proven experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with IAM platforms and tools (e.g., Okta, Entra ID/Azure AD, Oracle OAM, Oracle OID)
  • Experience with OKTA - 3+ years is mandatory
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Java, Power Shell) for automation and integration purposes
  • In-depth knowledge of identity protocols and standards such as OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and Kerberos
  • Experience assisting developers with their identity and access management requirements
