About the Project

The Mid-Term Refresh Project at RAAF Base Darwin involves upgrading base support infrastructure, developing new vehicle entrances, civil works, and water reticulation networks. This project aims to ensure sustained operation of the base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project strategy for planning, delivery methodology, and resource coordination.
  • Manage time-related contract issues effectively.
  • Create and maintain detailed programmes throughout all project stages.
  • Integrate 3D CAD models and programmes for seamless execution.
  • Ensure optimal programme sequencing and timing for successful project completion within tight deadlines.
  • Communicate critical activity sequences and consequences of delays.
  • Implement robust project controls and accurate reporting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Degree in an Engineering- or Construction-related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, Navisworks, PRISMG2, and Primavera P6.
