Market Risk Management Lead Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee risk management across our trading portfolios. This high-impact role involves shaping risk strategy, regulatory engagement and managing multiple teams in a complex business environment.

This is a key leadership position that requires exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as extensive experience in market risk, including deep knowledge of financial instruments, risk metrics and market risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and control of market risk across multiple asset classes and trading desks
  • Evaluation of key risk drivers and performance metrics, identifying trends and explaining significant shifts
  • Interpretation and application of risk appetite, scenario testing, stress testing and capital requirements
  • Driving risk modelling efforts, including Value at Risk (VaR), and oversight of model validation and back-testing
  • Assessment of new products, model changes and exceptions to risk frameworks
  • Monitoring of financial market developments and assessment of their impact on risk exposures
  • Delivery of deep-dive risk analysis and reporting to senior leadership and regulators

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams in global environments, as well as relevant professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM.
